Cooperation: Our Key to the Advancement and Social Security of Members session started at 1:30 PM

The Guest Speaker, Atty Gloria G. Funtalan, President of the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives -Visayas, was grateful for the COOPs for either availing or wanting to learn about the Kaya Platform, as it could help the poorest of the poor and be utilized during the pandemic. She was happy that many would get to learn about the benefits and advantages of using the payment platform. With the support of the govt this could make a difference in the lives of all members.



To present the updates on the Kaya Platform, Mrs. Bangge Lopez gave the presentation.









The Kaya Platform An integrated financial cooperative network that encompasses the following 4 below would help cooperatives adapt and grow their businesses. 1. Shared resources 2. Standardization of systems 3. Contractual Solidarity 4. Strategies for internal governance


This was spearheaded by the ACCU, PFCCO and NATCCO Kaya Benefits for members include improve efficiency, improve customer stickiness, facilitate membership expansion, passive revenues, protect health and safety of Co-op staff/mitigate COVID-19 transmission. While for members it offers convenience, save tine and cost, protect health and safety of members/mitigate the transmission of the pandemic.

Despite not being a member of the PFCCO you can still avail of the Kaya Platform Present social security programs for the informal sector was conducted by Mr. Alexander Regala.

Update on Social Security System






Members can automatically pay via Kaya for SSS loans and payments.


Mrs. Elenita San Roque, President of the ACCU wanted to emphasize that the the KAYA program is something everyone should be proud of as it is the only payment platform owned by the COOP in the world. It is both safe and trustworthy and every coop should avail of.
